Team 291 Web Team

Team 291 takes pride in its web design team for delivering fast team updates while supplying reliable archives and photo displays.

The version of team291.org you are currently viewing was designed 100% by Team 291 students. Our students have passed down the knowledge of designing and maintaining the webpage throughout the team's history, making the veteran students responsible for teaching the newer members of the team.

The current version of team291.org was designed without the use of any pre-designed template or format. The entire website was created from scratch in 2007, since then it has been improved upon almost daily by the students.

The team uses Dreamweaver MX Educational in the maintenance of the webpage, the same software that the students would be expected to use if they were to design a webpage for any company or organization. While Dreamweaver is used to maintain the site, all students on the web team fully understand the code of the webpage and are fully capable of editing the webpage through the code using software such as Notepad.

All graphics (logos, animated GIFs, etc.) have been designed by Team 291 students using Adobe Photoshop software unless otherwise specified.

The team has adapted code from Easy PHP Calendar to work on our homepage, operating on a database on our server that allows for a GUI input system for team members who are not familiar with HTML and Javascript.
